Six Hawaii Surf teams played at the 2018 San Diego Surf Cup, one of the nation’s premier summer tournament for youth soccer.
Three teams played during the Olders weekend (July 28-30) at the SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside, CA. The two teams played in the top Super Black divisions and both placed in their groups: Hawaii Surf 2001G, Womens U18 Super Black Finalist and Hawaii Surf 2002G, Girls U17 Super Black Semi-Finalist.
The Youngers teams played the week after (Aug 4-6) at the Surf Cup Sports Park in Del Mar, CA. Two teams emerged as Champions of their divisions: Hawaii Surf 2005G, Girls U14 Super White Champions and Hawaii Surf 2008G, Girls U11 Super White Champions.
